Stewart Copeland joins activists from 18 countries for a coordinated campaign, calling on Sudanese parties to ensure that the upcoming elections do not become a flashpoint for increased violence and human rights abuses. The global "beat for peace" campaign is backed by famous drummers including Stewart Copeland from The Police, Phil Selway from Radiohead, Ghanian drummer Mustafa Tettey Addey and Middle Eastern pop star Mohamed Munir.
