Who cares about this "lokah"?
Sting shouldn't party this much, instead - get some inspiration (even if he is an 60-years-old fart with too many billions on his bank-account) and do one last Police-Album worth remembering...

...yeah, why the hell shouldn't he take out more time of his life to satisfy a segment of his fan base which begrudges him for both getting old (as everyone eventually does) and making money (which everyone wishes they could do as well)?
looking back to the long distant past is not something i would consider very inspiring.

He's only 56 people. I love the way they had to mention the spirits available at the party. This album sounds beautiful and should be lauded as a great way to introduce world music to people.

Sting and Trudie Styler attended last night's exclusive party for the launch of Lokah's debut album titled The Ivy Ceiling. The event took place at Bruno Jamais in NYC and featured wine, champagne and vodka. Celebrities in attendance last night included Russell Simmons, the cast of The Real Housewives of NY, etc. The album, which blends traditional Indian kirtan with modern pop music, features Sting on the track titled "Ma Durga". The star studded event was put together by PR guru Katherine Rothman at KMR Communications and it went off without a hitch.
