On Wednesday afternoon, August 6th in New York City, The Police will film an episode of "Spectacle: Elvis Costello with...!" at the Apollo Theater. Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland will perform and discuss with Elvis their varied and respective interests in music as individuals, as well as the remarkable chemistry together that has made The Police one of the biggest bands in music history. The show will premiere later this year on the Sundance Channel in the USA, CTV in Canada and Channel 4 in the UK with FremantleMedia Enterprises distributing the series internationally.

The show opened with Elvis Costello performing Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic (Acoustic Solo) Please Stay/Every Breath You Take (Elvis Costello, vocals & guitar; Davey Faragher, bass; Steve Nieve, keys; Pete Thomas, drums). Elvis introduces the show with house band playing Demolition Man. Elvis then interviewed Andy and they performed Weird Nightmare. Elvis then interviewed Stewart, followed by Sting. They performed Flow My Tears, trading the vocals, with Sting on lute. They also went into a duet of Alison, with Sting joining Elvis on the chorus. For the final performance, which included Elvis Costello & the house band, they performed: Sunshine of Your Love, Watching the Detectives/Walking on the Moon Purple Haze.
