According to several US newspapers, Sting is reportedly selling his New York apartment for a staggering $24 million. According to The Sun (UK newpaper) already in June, Sting and wife Trudie Styler have apparently decided that they want something "better" than their current plush Central Park property and have put the apartment on the market, according to the New York Post newspaper. Sting bought the apartment, which contains four bedrooms and four bathrooms, from singer Billy Joel, and his then-wife Christie Brinkley.
However, Sting and Trudie are not moving far, they have paid a rumoured $30 million for a new apartment currently being built at 15 Central Park West. It is said to be a 5,500-square-foot penthouse with five bedrooms looking out on to the famous park.
Among Sting and Trudie's new neighbors is actor Denzel Washington, who has reportedly purchased a flat that is located just a few floors above (sic) the couple's.
