You can find many good pictures of the Rainforest Fund CHBC held yesterday on the site of CNN
including a kiss between Sheryl Crowe and Sting... besides, anyone can tell me who taylored Trudie's dress? It's awful...

Forgive him for WHAT? She had more important things on her mind getting this whole thing organized to worry about a bit of an ill-fitting dress. I agree he looked funny which is exactly the purpose of a fancy dress party, people! As for the kiss thing, and I remember predicting this very deliberate attempt at smearing him, It seems that immediately following the party Ms. Crowe was off with John Stamos to the south of France where they have rented a luxury villa (for 2); A loving kiss between performers is quite common, so are hugs of varying force. Ms. Crowe is deeply involved with Mr. Stamos but is not likely to plunge into an affair without due consideration, given the public dumping she suffered from Armstrong. I am willing to bet that both Trudie and Sting are in her corner and have encouraged her to get on with her life now that she has had good news about her cancer.

OMG!! Why did Sting go dressed as Whoopi Goldberg?! :P lol! Im actually quite disturbed by those images!! :x

I simply remarked the kiss between the two not for the purpose you intended, but just in the way you explained! And being funny, yes, they had to be. But not Trudie, and she wore the same dress in Cannes the day after the Carnegie Concert, and there were no need to be funny there (maybe they didn't find time to change dresses...)Simply, sometimes she has a terrible taste for dresses, despite the money.

All I can say in reply is that a sense of humour differs from some persons to others; and to go tsk tsk because a dress is worn more than once is to be as shallow as possible; Sting (if you study the history of fashion) is in an exaggerated version of a courtier of the time of King Charles II, which is certainly a parody if you look at some of the portraits of that era. I admire Trudie for getting a bit of extra mileage from a frock rather than dropping a few thousand dollars just to satisfy the papparazzi who would criticise anyway...better use was made of that money I am sure. If satirical and ironic pictures make you "actually quite disturbed by those images!!!", I find that sadder than anything I have read in these messages.

oh no! one thing is sense of humor, and I agree with you, one is a dress that surely costs thousands of dollars and you finish to look like a wrap of golden domopack! I don't say you must change dresses every hour and soiree, but simply that some dresses are horrible, and don't tell me Trudie doesn't spend money on dresses, because she has always said that. Simply some people has not taste but lot of money.

I couldn't give a damn about Trudie's dress, come one, who cares?! What i was 'disturbed' about is Sting in that wig!!! lol! Its just a strange image that all, its not 'satirical and ironic', its just having a bit of fun and raising lots of money for charity, but, i mean.. he could choose costumes that are a little sexier when he dresses up!! lol! But i was only messing around anyway! :P

The Rainforest Night was "Shades of Woodstock". Fesival during the years 69-70 and they sang the songs of these years. The costumes too. Details on Sting.com.
