$ting's done private concerts before...didn't the Sultan of Brunei pay a record sum for a private show?

Would he take $100 dollars for a private concert?

Maybe if we all pitch in $100 or so, maybe he will do a concert for us all, if we can settle on a location.

Lol! Thats cool but we'd have to find about 3000 Sting fans all willing to pay $100 each to match what that Russian tycoon is paying him!! :-0 I don't think that would be very private anymore! lol! :P

Nice idea though! he he! ;)

...russian tycoon.. ya, we've got a plenty of those here.... On one hand it's good to know that finally there's a businessman in here who's fond of Sting's songs... which might as well charatcterize him as being a good generous richman.... on the other hand, when Sting played Moscow in '96 the wallowing-in-money audience was there just for the sake of being at "some expensive concert".. I think it's made it to a legend how cold was the audience when Sting played there...... So I hope those oil/gas-money fed 'high-lifers' will at least be appreciative of the music... Cuz there's still this prevailing attitude amongst the local big shots - 'i pay for the concert and the hell with the rest, i'll treat it the way i want... even if i boo him, that's because i paid him'........... Don't want Sting to shed any good musical mood before I see him in public concert in Moscow...

For that kind of money, I would want to make my own setlist.

Oh man, that would be something....

Oh, so its already happened?! I wonder if sting.com hasn't reported this because Sting doesn't want it public or because its not true! ?? lol! I agree add9, i didn't think it would be Sting's style to play (literally) into the hands of elitist power hungry super-rich businessmen!!! :P
