Wed Nov 30 2005 | NEW POLICE MOVIE

The Police CDs at eBay USA | eBay UK | eBay DE

imageAs we reported back in early October, a new The Police film was in the works... We mentioned its original approach that would enchant many fans. Well, what we already knew then we can now reveal since this information has just also been released on the official Stewart Copeland website, namely:
An inside look at rock band the Police is offered in Stewart Copeland's "Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out," based on the drummer's personal Super 8 footage. It has the OK from the 3 band members and will be presented at the Sundance Film Festival.
More news about this also at www.stewartcopeland.net. BTW, Stewart is actually replying to all your questions on his forum...

Karel...who the hell is your source? ;-) First you know where Sting celebrates his birthday and now this......Please elaborate!

BTW, it would be cool if Outlandos to Synchronicity came out on DVD....

this must be the comeback of the police. i really belive in this one.

---------------------------------------------------

It will not be a re-release of already available videos, etc. ra ra ra ...
No comeback from The Police though.

Is the clue in the picture...? :)

Posted by: Project37 on Oct 06, 05 | 9:39 pm
---------------------------------------------------

Yes, i think the clue *is* in the picture... Because the Police have so much extra footage from their tours (i.e. non concert footage) this DVD may be like just following the band around on a tour or soemthing. "A day in the life of". WHo knows. However, I hope it includes a lot of rare REMASTERED concert footage. I think i've seen enough of the boys mingling with the locals on the "Around the World" video.

Posted by: buttmanos on Oct 06, 05 | 11:44 pm
---------------------------------------------------

that would be cool...well, Stewart Copeland has always been around with his super8 camera in The Police days to record stuff;-) so a whole DVD plus a remastered live concert, wow! No questions asked:-))))

... some parts are correct, some others not, keep an eye on this article ...

Looks like a release of Police around the World or The Police in the East with expanded or bonus material. Thats my guess.

Posted by: dcsting on Oct 07, 05 | 10:09 am
---------------------------------------------------

I think its going to a group of live songs from each tour, like 3 or 4 and you can watch it from the begining like it's one concert.

Or a list of songs like 15 and you can choose what tour you want to watch. There will be 5 roxanne's to choose from.

Posted by: buttmanos on Oct 08, 05 | 1:22 am

So spill the beans!!!

What is it I am buying???

do I have a knack in killing threads here or what?

Posted by: mr beat on Oct 18, 05 | 2:40 am

Is nobody else interested in hearing more on this?

Surely it's better news than hearing more about Trudie in Love Soup or Sting meeting Bush????

You´re right out with the soup, bring the meat balls :)

Wow, this looks exciting!! :-) And Stewart is answering questions on his forum, how cool is that?! 8-) Huum.. what to ask... ?

I'm probably just blind, but where on Stewart's site in this info? I couldn't find it.

of course, carlos seems to know everything about STing. It is amazing what obsession can do to someone

This is better news than hearing sting's new upcoming album

This a good news ,as good as hearing about Sting´s new upcoming album...that´s what you meant, righ?
I can only imagine Stewart getting the less favor-side of Sting with that super eight (ghosh I wish he had a beta cam SP at that time :)
Then will we have Sting upcoming with the Stewart most frenetical moves ...twisted hey!
