Fri Jun 10 2005 | STING STUNG FOR BILLS

Sting CDs at eBay USA | eBay UK | eBay DE

Sting's wife Trudie Styler is such a big spender that he's wondering where the next million's going to come from, diddums. The superstar told a 1.200-strong audience at the Hay-on-Wye Literature Festival that "I am worrying about making another record because I have to pay the rent." To sarcastic "ahhhs", Sting insisted: "I do - I am married to Trudie. She shops for Britain."
Sting also surprised Geldof during the same event by planting a kiss on him.

I like Trudie's sense of being "just like the rest of us". You know, we ALL have to pay the rent.......Struggle just to survive on the mere pennies we somehow manage to scrape together. I can somehow relate to the humaness of her comment and concern.

Funny, when i bought a Sting cd that i already had (but not 'bought', i dont know it just appeared on my PC, anyway..) by mum goes 'oh yeah, cause Sting wont be able to pay next week's rent if you dont buy his CDs!' lol!

Incidentally, did u know that: 'Every Breath You Take alone brings in £1,000 a day just from radio airplay rights.' - if i was Sting for just a month id be set for life moneywise!!

... Well Sting does sing in Everybody Laughed but You"Everybody screamed they told me you would cost the moon we'll be there soon"...

Or he is crazy or she is drug addict to spend so much...maybe she just give away to some needed people etc...
Weird he says that anyway!
I´ve a feeling he also was under some substancy at that time.

Could be like the tantric sex thing where he will say something to get the press to follow along. Sting being Sting being Sting being oh well whats his name again?

Yeah, Trudie likes to shop, and Sting likes to have a little fun with the press!!

HEy STing
Don't be an asshole this time. Pink Floyd is reuniting for Live 8. They had more problems and have been around longer that the Police. If they can reunite for this cause maybe you can reunite the Police

---------------------------------------------------

I am really really excited about the Pink-Floyd-reunion, hope these old men still can do it - after all they haven't played together for 23 years now! As for The Police: I don't have any hope for a reunion just because Sting isn't the Sting he used to be in those days. Besides he's got a super-ego, larger than life and even larger than Rog Waters' and Dave Gilmour's. What a treat it would be to see Stewart Copeland again behind this drum-kit. As for Styler's shopping habits: I don't give a shit about how billionairs spend their money, frankly.

yeah he is a bigger dick now

But why are you so obsessed with The Police? And if you don't like Sting, what are you doing here?
Sting have always said the he would never play with Police again, why he should do it now? About reunion: old assholes who plays togheter again for one reason only: money!!! Sting has it: he doesn't need to do things he doesn't likes to make another million.

Oh if only he could hear me! ;0)

I pays visit to this website because I love Sting's early work (with The Police) and I like some (not very much) of Sting's solo work. I think there has to be space for criticism as well even if this is a fan-site. As for Pink Floyd: Don't think that the four of them need money any more. I mean they are in their early sixties now - and they have got plenty of money for four lives I guess. By the way: Why does Sting demand money for every little shit on his official website? I don't know any other website like this...

Posted by: Mondmann on Jun 14, 05 | 6:19 pm
---------------------------------------------------

yes, I have said it before... that official site it's a shame! And for reunion... the lights, the money, the newspaper titles... that's the kind of things people who reunite is seeking for. I really don't think they do it for any other reason, as anyone else, in a band or as a solo artist. Sting is just the same. I'm the last person who would say that Sting is not interested in money... he is! Simply I can't stand the reunion of disbanded groups. I'm a very suspicious girl....

Michael Jackson's website is also "organised" like Sting's official website :-).

waooh!! what are implying?! lol! ;) I wish the guys over there who run it would lighten up though!!

Posted by: Lady Dolphin on Jun 15, 05 | 9:29 pm
---------------------------------------------------

That's very encouraging... really!
Are you kidding? And by the way, it isn't important what other artists do, but, in this case, what Sting (and his official fan site) does.

First of all fudgepacker, I am not obsessed with the police. Second if he has all the money he needs he wouldn't be charging 60 dollars to join his stupid site. Third he doesn't have to reunite the police for money but for the fans and for a good reason. It is what they want and not some washed down las vegas lounge sacred love act. HE should not be so arrogant and give the fans what they want. After all they have waited over 20 years plus if it was not for fans like myself he wouldn't be living in his chateau

But why are you so obsessed with The Police? And if you don't like Sting, what are you doing here?
