I have complained about the symphonic timbre of this project from the beginning. However, I think that this recording (from a symphonic texture and tone color vantage point) is a significant upgrade. I was very pleased with it. I don't feel that the timbre of Sting's voice "gels" with the instrumentation. This is a 180 degree turn from my previous posts. I enjoyed the symphony and disliked the vocals. I don't yet understand the reason for this quandry. After hearing the introductions to the songs I wanted to like it...but it fell short. I now understand the rave reviews by those who attended the concerts. P.S. After a first quick listen, I believe Sting has the chronology of the David and Bathsheba story out of order. I did not attend a concert and I thought it was wonderful along with his voice. It's just different than people are used too and many of us loved it.

I love the city and want to do my further studies here. It would be new city for me to relax and will find a new task. Recently, one of my best friend has moved to Berlin and now, it's my turn.
