That is a nice version Shazia! Never heard of the guy but I like it. Usually whenever I hear that someone has done a cover of Sting/Police I listen with some trepidation, I wonder how bad it will be! But this is good isn't it. It's a beautiful song, Lazarus Heart, it's one of my favourite ever Sting songs. For some reason I've had it in my head for a few days even before I heard this version and I haven't even played the Sting one for a while. I like the words as well as the tune. Finding strength at the time of the darkest hour, I think we've all been there. I actually need a new cd of Nothing Like The Sun but it seems to be one of the more expensive ones on amazon etc, so I haven't bought it yet. If anyone knows of it on special offer anywhere please let me know.

I hate it when people 'hate' something - especially when it has quality in it. It's an opinion Ok, and a choice of phrasing but dude, if you hate this because you think this is bland, I'm guessing you don't get Bill Withers or people like Billy Joel.

Just to clarify, I love this song! But not this version. As an opener on NLTS tour it blew me away Mino Cinelu and Marvin Smitty Smith worked up a great groove and then the wall of sound when the band kick in nearly floored me! Massive.

And the album version is awsome...really unusual, Andy's lovely guitar part and the sax hook...its really quite weird and wonderful. Really my favourite.

Come on, he broke the the structure of the song down beautifully, it was not meant to compare with a full band version...

Trini , this is just my opinion but this fantastic song rocks with a band and this accoustic version looks just fair and cool but nothing compare with only Sting with guitar. This GUY is NOT Sting but this is just cool because he covers a great great song in his own that's all.
Some people like It , some find It ok and some don't like It.

He had intelligent acoustic idea but It doesn't sound " fantastic" in my ears.

He did a great job on restructuring the song. I like the riff, but I don't like his singing. Even though the guy has a good voice, I find it quite boring. However the guy has talent, no doubt.
