Hey ya Fans and Friends, i am really dissapointed to hear that there will be no new Album by THE POLICE. It is a slap in every true fan of The Police...... I understand that some fans dont wanna have this tour and possible new album situtation.......Before the tour it was unpossible to think that there will be a Tour......and know its clear....it was just for pocket.... I am really sad....i dont wanna have a new SAcred Love upfucking album....Sorry but the last 2 Albums sucks....Only End of the game and Dead Mans Rope....are really gr8....... Why Andy started this rumour of a possible six studio album ? Why they recorded some new tunes....? Will there be a box set after the tour....? A new gr8 test Hits with 2 new Songs ? I know from a source that they recorded something in italy.... I hope for us all that this songs come to an release...... I think its Stings EGO who stop ed this evolution of The Police.... Dont call it spiritual journey STING......for me it was just the mones who had let be a reunion tour.... I dont like the set-list ...... Where are the rare songs never played before ? We wanna hear : I burn for U-Once upon a daydream-Canary in a coalmine-Man in a suitcase-Omegaman-Too much in4mation-Tea in the sahara-Miss Gradenko-Born in the 50 s-Bring on the night Ok i know that some of U here will attack me right now....but its ok.... I say what i think.....and its cool 2 me and many other real fans...... PeAcE and enjoy the rest of the tour.....i will be in Düsseldorf on 8 june....but i really hope they will change some tracks on the tour..... HI YO HO........ Bonty I hope they change the setlist too!!!
I checked the last police show from Honolulu on February 17th and its the same setlist! Im thinking............If they don't change the setlist by the time they perform in Ottawa. I don't see it ever changing. I'd love to hear Bring on the Night but if they(Sting) added only Secret Journey to the setlist...I would be so HAPPY! Feb 19, 08 | 5:47 pm

While an updated setlist would be nice when is the band going to have time to rehearse them. In addition with the band still making errors with the current setlist - new songs won't help. On top of everything else the band is looking a bit tired. I'm glad that I was able to see them at the start of the tour with the longer set lists.
The set list is so heavily based on the first three albums but I'd like to hear Bring on the Night. Canary in a Coal mine, Man in a suit case, Secret Journey while all great songs are not going to please all the masses and again the band has to consider the sponsors wishes as is their money that is funding the tour. 4 every buck they put in they expect 4 back. It is one thing to tour with this band but its another thing entirely to do an album. And this is why I said at the start that the album wouldn't happen. It was about closure and not starting something new. With Elvis Costello being added to the show it sounds to me like the set list might shrink again. I just hope we don't read Police Arrested by Elvis, as Elvis fans pour out of the arena when the Police come on stage (Annie Lennox/Sting Sacred Love tour) Feb 20, 08 | 9:45 am

And the bed's too big would be nice too. I love that song in its live version. I'm a bit dissapointed about this all, but on the other hand I'm very glad that I was able to see them live for once in my life. I still doubt whether I should go to Dusseldorf or not. It will be my last chance to see them but on the other hand, I have very good memories of their gig in Amsterdam and I don't want this memory to be ruined. So I'm not sure yet. And I agree with Fish that they will probably not do new songs, otherwise I might consider to go.
Elvis is only in the US isnt it? Not in Europe? I think moods are changing among the fans. At first (almost) everyone was very excited about the reunion tour, but now people seem to be a bit tired of it and wanting something fresh and new. Me too. But it won't be a new album. Maybe they tried but werent satisfied about the quality? Feb 20, 08 | 1:45 pm

I have to admit that since Sting has gone from Jazz to classical, I too have felt that he has exhausted his pop song writing and jumped on another money making style of classical, as a devoted Police and the members solo efforts since 1979! i.e Klark Kent etc I have felt let down by the fact that I like many of you have continued following Sting through his solo explorations and to all of a sudden be dumped for our hero to defect to the Classical audiance, The Police reunion tour was a great mix! especially since we were mostly in our teens as fans and that our pocket money would just about buy a Marathon bar never getting near to a concert ticket, at least it has given us older folks a chance to see them live, mind did I miss the Grand Canyon filling up (quote by Sting)? The set itself reminded me of the Atlanta Synchronicity concert minus the backing singers, What is actually more refreshing to listen to right now is the Ghost in the Machine Demos! wow because it's new to me it's like they aint 28 years old! On a last note, Sting gets annoyed that he gets more attention when he bangs out Police material than what he gets for his own, with that in mind plus what he has experianced with the last Police tour AND the fact that if he continues plodding around with classical (History teaches us nothing - qoute by Sting!) then he will be a unknown former rock star who will loose thousands of dedicated fans who payed him to be where he belongs!.
