Maybe it's just me but I don't see much need for a mention about Joe.

And with Sting as your dad it's not surprising that there's music influence around the house or even a drive to want to learn and want to play live. Unfortunately they're all going to be stuck in his shadow now matter how good they are.

It's the other way round. The prime time HBO hit show "Blame Coco" is about a daughter who writes hit songs for her father after he suffers a writer's block following a mega world tour with his previous band. Hilarious and dramatic events ensue in this heartwarming tale of....etc etc. etc....

It's blame coco the forum thread show. Comedy at its insane worst. Somebody is going to get picked on. I tried to have the topic between Dominic and Sting which didn't work. Then Trudie and Sting - moms not going to misplace the kid. Tried Sting and Vinne - wasn't going to work because or I was 2/7 th pssitve it wouldn't. Sting and George Bush wouldn't work either - can't see both in the same room as it is.

Besides this last one is a case of miscommunication its not bad guy evil guy.

I at one time thought of starting a "show kipper the love" thread where you had to say something possitive about Kipper. Problem is afte all my prior comments it would be perceived to be a joke in and of itself.

In a prior post in some thread I can't find (and its likely sitting here and could beat me a pulp if it was alive) I typed If Coco is reading this - I'm not picking on you - I admire the work you have done and you have the talent I think to make it in the music industry. I'm just showing that appreciation in an odd way. Ok I didn't say it that way but I still can't find what I entered anyways. The same goes to Kipper. Which might mean with all the poking and punning I do to Kipper that I might feel that Kipper is a god.

Don't worry about Kipper Epilogue. I am taking him to see his therapist twice a week. I am not as negative about Kippers contributions as most everyone else. I think he is a great musician and producer has come up with some brilliant ideas. BUT it seems that people do not like Stings direction when Kipper is around. Especially on "Sacred Love"it was overproduced to say the least. But you know my opinion on that. Sting does exactly what he wants in the long run. I thought BND was a brilliant album. Cocos real name is Elliot. Which is still a bit different. I like her music better than Amy Winehouse's. Maybe it's because Amy is always in trouble and last night when performing from London on The Grammy's I swear she was high. But then that's me.

I agree that Coco's music is much better and I would feel that way even if Amy did not have a substance abuse problem. Coco is just more talented. I do not understand Amy's appeal AT ALL (her music, her personna, anything). Why doesn't Coco have a record label? There is no justice in a world where Amy wins multiple Grammy awards and Coco's music isn't even available for purchase. God does have a twisted sense of humor imo, or maybe that's just me. ;)

She won 5 Grammy's last night. After watching Neil Young today on a 2006 concert, and just thinking how great he is, WHY has he never won a Grammy. The world is twisted.

Yes Francis got Sting some modeling jobs so they could keep their heads above water. That is how The Police ended up with blond hair. They needed a band for a Wrigley Chewing Gum Ad So Sting suggested his band, but the band had to have blond hair. So they died their hair blond. Andy not being too happy about the whole deal. Stewart had already died his hair blond, but don't know if he still had it at the time. But Sting also did some Bra commercials with Joanna Lumley from "Absolutely Fabulous". She thought Sting was a little too hands on if you know what I mean. micra may have some pictures.

And yes, too much make-up perhaps. But she has very clear complexion, as all the Sumners have (Giacomo is really pale too!) Daddy is very tanned, hence the beard. She was a perfect little star in "Stardust" movie.

just found the lyrics for ya. Not exactly what I thought. Because I remembered hearing something something "... sterling, that was my father's nickname". It turns out to be used in a slightly different way, because it's "who ashed upon the sterling". Who knows. I still think that's some kind of allusion to Sting. That's a misunderstanding on your part. In the song My Name Is A Stain she criticizes the way people treat her because she's Sting's daughter. People who suck up to her to get close to her dad, people who stalk her, paparazzi, etc.

The song Tu Cages is a very moving one about her and her dad. It sounds like they share a special bond through music.

I can see how Tu Cages may be about Sting, until I get to the "we are strangers" part.

When I was 17 I had a strange relationship with my father. I loved him to death but couldn't communicate with him. Maybe she's experiencing the same thing.
