I was watching the video of "Invisible Sun" the other day from "Every Breath You Take" DVD, and as the images disappeared, I thought the video was over. But at the end of the song I heard Sting singing something in high notes. Then I rewinded it and heard something like "I believe there is a place somewhere... far away..." I could not comprehend the complete words.

Does anyone know what Sting sings at the end of "Invisible Sun" video? Please tell me. Thanks a lot!

hi "sleeping princess"!! very interesting question!! The first time I watch this video (I was 11),I was shoking by the image of Irland civil war and more by the end with this strange song ,the synthetiser sound scared me with coy's picture.

Hi Sleeping Princess you're right, id never noticed that before thanx for pointing it out! I just watched it now and i turned the volume up right at the end and he sings, in very high notes:

'All I want is a place somewhere, far away from the cold night air'!!!

Its a song from a musical, 'Oliver' right?! Or something like that! I think Sting is trying to sound like a small cockney chimney-sweep boy!! God knows why!! lol!

I must check these other forums more often, I forget theyre here!!

I just noticed that the other day. When I heard it I thought it was my neighbor playing loud music and interrupted me. But it was unmistakenly Sting. :)

By the way, Sting looks great in the video, although he only "dimmed" in the background.

Hi, it's funny as i hadnt noticed that before - but there is a littel story.
When Sting first made his demos for the album Ghost in the machine he turned up with almost finished tracks for the album (no need for the other guys :-) If you hear the demos Sting sings this part alot on the demo track for invisible sun, and repeats it to fade.

Sorry im posting this months after the last comment, but I just joined and found this very interesting.

I have downloaded a ton of concerts from the police.com forum and was listening to the hartford synchronicity show and he sings this line over and over at the end of invisible sun.

Also where could I find these demo tracks, i would love to hear them!!

Is May Fair Lady also Pygmalion?
