Nah,Iīve just remembered now that he is always suing those that follow him...last year one stalker this year his chauffer...what else?

Hey DesertRed, I'm spaniard. "La Boca" is a Dominic Miller's tune and he wants to refer the football team Boca Juniors from Argentina.
I don't want to be demanded by him... (LoL) so I'm still thinking about what festival to go. I'd like to go to Montreux but Belgium is cheaper from Spain...

Interesting, first i feel ashamed that i didnīt know La Boca was a Dom tune,I admire his music, and of course that he is from Argentina(habla espaņol y tiene salero latino en su musica, por supuesto que si!)...but i didnīt knew that about *La Boca*...another thing that you make me aware of is ...well...why is it Belgium cheaper from Spain? Cheaper then Montreux?

It seems you speak a bit of spanish!!!
Yeah, I meant flying from Spain to Brusells is cheaper than going to Montreux. Hotels are more expensive in Montreux than in Brusells as well...but I'd prefer to go to Montreux Festival because I think in Werchter there will be a bigger crowd.

It looks as though things are shaping up to prove you quite correct, jumpstart. It may not be as formal a tour as the one undertaken last spring in the US, but the time available between the shows that have already been confirmed make it look quite possible for future announcements.
The one thing that really excites me the most about what I have read of these string of concert dates is that Abraham Laboriel Jr is rejoining Sting's band for these shows. So the lineup is still the scaled down quartet including Dominic Miller and Lyle Workman on guitars, but they are being joined by the much more versatile Laboriel on drums. As I've read on another message board, it only seems appropriate that a drummer who can actually play jazz will now be handling the drumming at these jazz festivals that Sting has decided to play.

I trust in Stingus concert information, but I find it strange that ONLY LISBON -Rock In Rio 2006 is *officially*anounced ...
It is all dust covered ,lol...even the Spanish mayor that last year talked about Sting coming to do an Albacete festival is now mute as mule, canīt believe this...humm or perhaps its to soon to speak -tongue-in-sheek...;)

Hey Glarbage! I found out that Josh Freeze won't play with Sting because he is playing at the same Festival with Guns 'n' Roses!!! Interesting, isn't it?

Oh Wow, I completely forgot that Mr Freese was involved with that remodeled version of Guns n Poses. They made an appearance a few years ago to promote their forthcoming cd Chinese Democracy and then the lineup completely fell apart. I guess that Freese is so good natured that he can put up with any b.s. So which festival is Axl and his scabs playing? Surely not Montreux Jazz Festival???
So Freese is an extremely busy guy. I think that choosing the option of GNR over Sting is a good one. He is much more in his element playing straight ahead hard rock.
Welcome back Abraham!

How does Johnny know everything before anybody else?! I still say we should torture him for more information!! :P Have you seen this DRR?

"Below are the latest confirmed dates for Sting's [i]2006 Broken Music tour.[/b]

23/04/2006 Jazz Festival, Plymouth, Tobago
29/04/2006 Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, USA
04/06/2006 Rock in Rio Festival, Lisbon, Portugal
06/06/2006 City Square, Malta
07/07/2006 Bospop Festival, Weert, Holland
08/07/2006 WE Classic Festival, Werchter, Belgium
24/07/2006 New Ice Arena, St. Petersburg, Russia
26/07/2006 Olympiski, Moscow, Russia

Further dates will be announced once they are finalised."

YAY!! :D I can't wait to see how big (hopefully) this tour will be!! ;)

What i don't get though is why sting.com havn't actually announced this tour, not properley anyway!! They never once mentioned (to my knowledge) that Sting was gona mend the Broken tour in Europe!! :) Theyre just casually giving us more and more dates, like its no big deal!! And theyre not giving us much info about them either, or what Sting is actually doing and why!! Whats the big secret?! Huum... maybe only Sting knows that!! lol! ;)

Oh yeah, so does anyone know for definite the musician line up for these gigs?! No Josh or Shane?! Wow Sting's getting through these musicians fast, lol! I wonder if he'll bring in any keyboards? Oh no will that mean Kipper?! :P I think he should bring back some of the guys from 10 Summoners, Vinnie and David (cant spell their surnames, lol), that would be a great band now wouldnt it?! Well doesn't make much difference to me anyway, as long as Sting is there ;), oh and Dominic of course!! :)

Lady Dolphin, the lineup is Dominic and Lyle Workman on guitars, with the 'large punisher' Abraham Laboriel Jr returning to the drum throne.
Not only will this lineup bring the rock of the prior Broken Music, but the versatility of past Sting tours.
